I agree with Heikki this amazing application and services integrated. It works like real charm I am no more worried about loosing my photograph taken by Nokia Phone Camera. If u have working unlimited data-plan or access to wi-fi hot-spot you can sync the photos to Image Exchange server. Very innovative product indeed as its name says. I used the product since its launched until I had my e71 (oh I still miss him, transfered to my younger bro now) but I am still waiting a version of Image Exchange for N97 for it. I have many photos taken by the N97 to upload at http://imageexchange.nokia.com

Vodafone Mobile Connect

This is particular to me but a few other customers may have echoed sentiments. I have WiFi access at my Home and other places I visit often. Hence I do not need any other Internet service for 99 % of my Internet usage.

But I still subscribe to Vodafone Mobile Connect 499 for the rest 1% of my Internet usage.
I have analysed my bill and I know that I use hardly 100MB of my bundled data-limit of 500MB. Sometimes even less. But If I downgrade the tariff to basic Vodafone Mobile connect that is Rs200/month as rental without any bundled data and 10p/10kB only for 30MB a month I will have Rs 500 to my bill.
Hence practically Vodafone do not have a data plan below Rs 499/month.
But for my kind of usage I would appreciate if you could introduce a plan something like Rs 299/month with bundled 299 MB.

I have a few suggestion which could improve the overall

customer experience.

Please update your web portal with utmost priority.

Tell all the Vodafone executives to visit the website as often as they can. (Because this is the first thing and Internet savvy customer come through). If some plan or service is there on your website the Vodafone executive must know about it. At the least executives at Vodafone stores. I have experienced lack of information to the Vodafone executives about a few things mentioned over website.

Every visit at Vodafone store translates into a wait of 20-30 minutes minimum. While waiting I have noticed a few executive desks not in use. Also the number of executives attending customers must be increased. At Vodafone store, Gaurav Tower, Jaipur there are three swift desks, which are always empty or not in use. So you can use those desks as express help desks. Hence there will be people who do not need to spend much time waiting for just a simple query. Anyone who needs more time can be requested to wait for more assistance as they presently do. This would definitely reduce the wait time for most people and hence the overall experience at Vodafone store.

There should be computer screens connected to http://www.vodafone.in/ and myVodafone service at every store. So that people can use them for some help and may be they will not require any of the executive to tell them the same information.

There should be two divisions of executives serving to Postpaid and Prepaid customers respectively. People who are paying more and committing more, deserve preferential treatment. And the Vodafone definitely practise this at Vodafone Care.

Shantanu Moitra and Swanand Kirkire giving their music and lyrics for a film by Sudhir Mishra, whose “Hazaron Khwahishon Aisi” I still cherish and remember as one of the best film I have seen, felt in depth of heart and enjoyed. For music for story telling for great acting talent.

Shiney Ahuza is once again working with Sudhir Mishra. And story is not from today’s word, Mishra has once again dived into past to give us (expectedly) great story in cinematic form.

Yes, me and many other like me who loved the “Hazaron Khwahishon Aisi” by Sudhir Mishra which deals with “Naxalite Problem and Philosophy” in that film.

Here I am expecting something on the same lines at least if we talk of sheer cinematic story telling.

I have no clue what is this Movie is going to about. Hence I cannot predict anything about the movie yet I have read in media that picture is set in historical times. And it’s always good to have glimpse of history live in front of your eyes specially on the silver screen.

So finally I should stop talking about all the things but the music. The music of “Khoya Khoya Chand” is also par excellence. And in the same tradition as the “Hazaron Khwahishen Aisi”. Half of the songs are based on Indian Classical. Rest are contemporary music suitable to the times in which the story is based.

“Sakhi Piya”(Sony Nigam) and “O Re Paakhi”(Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal) are my pick from the album. Both of them being Calssicaly based. Then comes “Thirak Thirak” (Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal) a semi classical song and “Chale Aao Saiyan” (Shreya Ghoshal) a thumari sung beautifully.

For me Shreya Ghoshal’s voice was al together a new experience. Not her usual very melodies and sweeter voice. Rather here you get listen a very little bit of huskiness, which can be identified with most of classical singers. I should say a little bit mix of ‘kasak’.

The title song may give us somewhat idea of the story of the film.
“Zindagi sawalon ke jawab dhundhne chali , jawaab me sawalon ki ek lambi si ladi mili, sawaal hi sawaal hain, sujhati nahi galiki aaj haath tham lo, ek haath ki khami khali”

Lyrics are, very philosophical and poetic. So you just don’t have usual songs of Hindi Cinema but real quality poems woven into melodies.

In the title song, Shantanu Moitra has experimented and simultaneously three kind of music has been used. First is like “Veer Ras Kavita”, second is usual piano based soft music, and third is Qawwali like music. And the fusion is much better than usual remix. The lyricist or should I use poet Swanand Kirkire has given his voice in the song hence song has benefited.

बंगलोर- डायरेक्ट टू होम (डीटीएच) टेलीविजन के जमाने में एक कदम आगे जाते हुए भारतीय अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान संगठन (इसरो) ने एक महत्वाकांक्षी परियोजना शुरू की है। इसके शुरू होने से टीवी प्रसारण का दायरा बढ़ बहुत जाएगा और यहाँ तक कारों में भी टीवी चैनल देखे जा सकेंगे। इसरो एक बार शक्तिशाली प्रणाली स्थापित करने में कामयाब हो गया तो आप अपना पसंदीदा टीवी चैनल कहीं भी देख सकेंगे। यहाँ तक कि सुदूरवर्ती जंगल में भी।

इसरो के अध्यक्ष श्री जी. माधवन नायर ने बताया कि यदि आप टीवी सिग्नल कार, ट्रक जैसे चलित प्लेटफार्म तक पहुँचाने में सफल हो जाते हैं तो यह एक बड़ी कामयाबी होगी। इसलिए हमने ऐसी ही एक परियोजना पर काम शुरू कर दिया है। तीन साल से भी कम समय में हम इस काम को अंजाम दे देंगे। श्री नायर ने बताया कि इस परियोजना के तहत इसरो चलती कार में टीवी तस्वीरें भेजने के लिए केयू बैंड ट्रांसपांडर्स को और शक्तिशाली बनाएगा, अंतरिक्ष में तैनात किए गए एंटेना का आकार बढ़ाएगा और प्रसारण के लिए बैंड विड्थ को और घनीभूत करेगा।

उन्होंने बताया कि वर्तमान में केयू ट्रांसपांडर्स बैंड में होता यह है कि ऊर्जा के साथ-साथ प्रसारण आवृत्ति की सीमाओं के कारण धरती पर आधे मीटर व्यास के एक एंटेना की जरूरत होती है जिसका मुँह उपग्रह की ओर रखना पड़ता है। यदि आपको चलती गाड़ी में कोई टीवी चैनल के सिग्नल चाहिए तो आप को किसी एक सिरे पर शक्तिशाली सिग्नलों की जरूरत होगी।

इसके अलावा ये सिग्नल घने होना चाहिए ताकि पाने वाले सिरे पर या कार की छत पर मौजूद छोटे एंटेना के जरिए टीवी सिग्नल पकड़े जा सकेंगे। इसके लिए हमें नए किस्म के एंटेना विकसित करना पड़ेंगे। फिलहाल हम दो मीटर व्यास के एंटेना का इस्तेमाल कर रहे हैं। मोबाइल प्रसारण के लिए हमें अंतरिक्ष में पाँच से छह मीटर व्यास के एंटेना का इस्तेमाल करना होगा। बहरहाल एक बार यह तकनीक विकसित हो जाने के बाद विश्व बाजार में तहलका मचा देगी।

"I have three visions for India. In 3000 years of our history, people from all over the world have come and invaded us, captured our lands, conquered our minds. From Alexander onwards, The Greeks, the Turks, the Moguls, the Portuguese, the British, the French, the Dutch, all of them came and looted us, took over what was ours. Yet we have not done this to any other nation. We have not conquered anyone. We have not grabbed their land, their culture, their history and Tried to enforce our way of life on them. Why? Because we respect the freedom of others.

That is why my first vision is that of FREEDOM. I believe that India got its first vision of this in 1857, when we started the war of Independence. It is this freedom that we must protect and nurture and build on. If we are not free, no one will respect us.

My second vision for India's DEVELOPMENT, For fifty years we have been A developing nation. It is time we see ourselves as a developed nation. We are among top 5 nations of the world in terms of GDP. We have 10 percent growth rate in most areas. Our poverty levels are falling. Our achievements are being globally recognized today. Yet we lack the self-confidence to see ourselves as a developed nation, self-reliant and self-assured. Isn't this incorrect?

I have a THIRD vision. India must stand up to the world. Because I believe that, unless India stands up to the world, no one will respect us. Only strength respects strength. We must be strong not only as a military power but also as an economic power. Both must go hand-in-hand. My good fortune was to have worked with three great minds. Dr. Vikram Sarabhai of the Dept. of space, Professor Satish Dhawan, who succeeded him and Dr.Brahm Prakash, father of nuclear material. I was lucky to have worked with all three of them closely and consider this the great opportunity of my life.I see four milestones in my career:

Twenty years I spent in ISRO. I was given the opportunity to be the project director for India's first satellite launch vehicle, SLV3. The one that launched Rohini. These years played a very important role in my life of Scientist. After my ISRO years, I joined DRDO and got a chance to be the part of India's guided missile program. It was my second bliss when Agni met its mission requirements in 1994.

The Dept. of Atomic Energy and DRDO had this tremendous partnership in the recent nuclear tests, on May 11 and 13. This was the third bliss. The joy of participating with my team in these nuclear tests and proving to the world that India can make it, that we are no longer a developing nation but one of them. It made me feel very proud as an Indian. The fact that we have now developed for Agni a re-entry structure, for which we have developed this new material. A Very light material called carbon-carbon.

One day an orthopedic surgeon from Nizam Institute of Medical Sciences visited my laboratory. He lifted the material and found it so light that he took me to his hospital and showed me his patients. There were these little girls and boys with heavy metallic calipers weighing over three Kg. each, dragging their feet around.

He said to me: Please remove the pain of my patients. In three weeks, we made these Floor reaction Orthosis 300-gram calipers and took them to the orthopedic center. The children didn't believe their eyes. From dragging around a three kg. load on their legs, they could now move around! Their parents had tears in their eyes. That was my fourth bliss!

Why is the media here so negative? Why are we in India so embarrassed to recognize our own strengths, our achievements? We are such a great nation. We have so many amazing success stories but we refuse to acknowledge them. Why?

We are the first in milk production.
We are number one in Remote sensing satellites.
We are the second largest producer of wheat.
We are the second largest producer of rice.
Look at Dr. Sudarshan, he has transferred the tribal village into a self-sustaining, self driving unit.
There are millions of such achievements but our media is only obsessed in the bad news and failures and disasters.

I was in Tel Aviv once and I was reading the Israeli newspaper. It was the day after a lot of attacks and bombardments and deaths had taken place. The Hamas had struck. But the front page of the newspaper had the picture of a Jewish gentleman who in five years had transformed his desert land into an orchid and a granary.

It was this inspiring picture that everyone woke up to. The gory details of killings, bombardments, deaths, were inside in the newspaper, buried among other news. In India we only read about death, sickness, terrorism, crime. Why are we so NEGATIVE?

Another question: Why are we, as a nation so obsessed with foreign things? We want foreign TVs, we want foreign shirts. We want foreign technology. Why this obsession with everything imported. Do we not realize that self-respect comes with self-reliance? I was in Hyderabad giving this lecture, when a 14 year old girl asked me for my autograph. I asked her what her goal in life is. She replied: I want to live in a developed India. For her, you and I will have to build this developed India. You must proclaim. India is not an under-developed nation; it is a highly developed nation.

Do you have 10 minutes? Allow me to come back with a vengeance. Got 10 minutes for your country? If yes, then read; otherwise, choice is yours.

YOU say that our government is inefficient.
YOU say that our laws are too old.
YOU say that the municipality does not pick up the garbage.
YOU say that the phones don't work, the railways are a joke, the airline is the worst in the world, mails never reach their destination.
YOU say that our country has been fed to the dogs and is the absolute pits.
YOU say, say and say.

What do YOU do about it? Take a person on his way to Singapore. Give him a name - YOURS.

Give him a face - YOURS. YOU walk out of the airport and you are at your International best.

In Singapore you don't throw cigarette butts on the roads or eat in the stores. YOU are as proud of their Underground Links as they are. You pay $5(approx. Rs.60) to drive through Orchard Road (equivalent of Mahim Causeway or Pedder Road) between 5 PM and 8 PM. YOU come back to the parking lot to punch your parking ticket if you have over stayed in a restaurant or a shopping mall irrespective of your status identity. In Singapore you don't say anything, DO YOU? YOU wouldn't dare to eat in public during Ramadan, in Dubai. YOU would not dare to go out without your head covered in Jeddah. YOU would not dare to buy an employee of the telephone exchange in London at 10 pounds (Rs.650) a month to, "see to it that my STD and ISD calls are billed to someone else."

YOU would not dare to speed beyond 55 mph (88 km/h) in Washington and then tell the traffic cop, "Jaanta hai sala main kaun hoon (Do you know who I am?). I am so and so's son. Take your two bucks and get lost." YOU wouldn't chuck an empty coconut shell anywhere other than the garbage pail on the beaches in Australia and New Zealand. Why don't YOU spit Paan on the streets of Tokyo? Why don't YOU use examination jockeys or buy fake certificates in Boston? We are still talking of the same YOU. YOU who can respect and conform to a foreign system in other countries but cannot in your own. You who will throw papers and cigarettes on the road the moment you touch Indian ground. If you can be an involved and appreciative citizen in an alien country, why cannot you be the same here in India?

Once in an interview, the famous Ex-municipal commissioner of Bombay, Mr. Tinaikar, had a point to make. "Rich people's dogs are walked on the streets to leave their affluent droppings all over the place," he said." And then the same people turn around to criticize and blame the authorities for inefficiency and dirty pavements. What do they expect the officers to do? Go down with broom every time their dog feels the pressure in his bowels? In America every dog owner has to clean up after his pet has done the job. Same in Japan. Will the Indian citizen do that here?" He's right. We go to the polls to choose a government and after that forfeit all responsibility. We sit back wanting to be pampered and expect the government to do everything for us whilst our contribution is totally negative. We expect the government to clean up but we are not going to stop chucking garbage all over the place nor are we going to stop to pick up a stray piece of paper and throw it in the bin. We expect the railways to provide clean bathrooms but we are not going to learn the proper use of bathrooms.

We want Indian Airlines and Air India to provide the best of food and toiletries but we are not going to stop pilfering at the least opportunity. This applies even to the staff who is known not to pass on the service to the public. When it comes to burning social issues like those related to women, dowry, girl child and others, we make loud drawing room protestations and continue to do the reverse at home. Our excuse? 'It's the whole system which has to change, how will it matter if I alone forego my sons' rights to a dowry.'

So who's going to change the system? What does a system consist of? Very conveniently for us it consists of our neighbors, other households, other cities, other communities and the government. But definitely not me and YOU. When it comes to us actually making a positive contribution to the system we lock ourselves along with our families into a safe cocoon and look into the distance at countries far away and wait for a Mr. Clean to come along & work miracles for us with a majestic sweep of his hand or we leave the country and run away. Like lazy cowards hounded by our fears we run to America to bask in their glory and praise their system. When New York becomes insecure we run to England. When England experiences unemployment, we take the next flight out to the Gulf. When the Gulf is war struck, we demand to be rescued and brought home by the Indian government.

Everybody is out to abuse and rape the country. Nobody thinks of feeding the system. Our conscience is mortgaged to money.

Pros n Cons of Having BSNL connection

There might be a lot of complaints about BSNL services but
But they are still the "First" and "Most" cheaper so far.
If you use even 150 mins permonth for STD calls, your money has already got the Value much more then earlier plans.
Do you remember the days when postpaid mobile connection (sept 2002,I bought my 1st mobile connection) was at whopping Rs.350/month and additional Rs.75 for CLIP. Even though you had to give arround Rs.2 per min for incoming and more than that for outgoing calls.
Entry of reliance made it dramitically cheaper, because RIM wanted to earn customer base, once he gained it sufficiently it also became as greedy as other players except BSNL.
Reliance has given same Rs 1/min anywhere in India plan almost 18 months before. But it was still charging 499+25+25 for the same. But Now BSNL has given the better offer for only Rs.299/month.
In the same order, no other company is providing broadband in smaller cities like Jaipur,Alwar,Kota. I don't think any private player will come to these cities in next two yrs atleast.
Also BSNL DataOne is providing the actual speed they are promising and also at the cheapest rate so far.
I am happy to have Click n See speed at affordable price, it may be costlier for major downloads like movies or video files but atleat for srufing is really smooth and affordable. For major downloads one can schedule the downloads for NIGHT UNLIMITED (2am-8am), available in Plans 500 and onwards. I myself has Plan 500 and I am finding it infinitely better than anything else available in Jaipur, and if not for BSNL I don't think anything else is sooner going to come in Cities like Jaipur (which is one of 15 largest city of India).

There is one thing which punch very much customer's pocket that is while you get 1024 MBs for 500 Rs i.e. 49p/MB, But every addtional MB is charged at Rs 1.20. Which is 2.25 times higher approx, and if use some addtional MBs it might come you dearer than expected. But Reliance BroadBand is also charing similarily for extra MBs.
Could someone elobrate why it is so?

And ofcourse like anyone else I am also waiting for unlimited usage for fixed monthly rental around Rs 500 to 1000, for various speed. Something similar or better than Airtel Broadband.

Imroving 'ME'

After a long time me writing something, me has been idle, doing nothing, creative or professional, recreational or official.
I used to love a lot of things and I hope I still do, but I am not doing anything for them. Writing personal diary or writing my thoughts in verse or prose has been my irregular passion for long now. And this is the field which have given me some meories of lifetime to cherish with. I must take it seriously and start practise it now as frequently as possible.
So here once again I am taking public oath to be as frequent as possible on blog. so that I could take my hobby of writing which is older than the 'Blog' phenomena.
And also I will plan something like short stories and poems.
The feeling might be induced by publication of the story of my friend KAA in "DNA Mumbai".

Hope the goddess Saraswati will bless me in my effort.

'This Is A Betrayal Of The People'— Uma

The BJP legislators' meeting in Bhopal was stormy. Here's a fly-on-the-wall account of it.
The Hindi weekly Outlook Saptahik literally had its ear to the ground inside the venue where a stormy meeting of BJP legislators in Bhopal took place. Arun Jaitley and Pramod Mahajan flew in from Delhi to ensure that Shivraj Singh Chauhan is "elected" the new CM by the legislators. Excerpts:

(There is chaos in the first 34 minutes. Finally, proceedings begin.)

Arun Jaitley: "We are gathered here today under special circumstances. For some weeks now, there has been a fierce debate over the leadership of the legislative party. Many of you friends have expressed different opinions on this. On November 26, the parliamentary board met, had a discussion and took a decision. The meeting of the legislators has been called to ratify the decision."

Uma Bharati: "According to the party constitution, the legislators have the right to elect their leader. The parliamentary board has the right to call a meeting of the legislature party, but not to elect the leader. Here 106 of 172 legislators have demanded that a new leader be elected with their support (applause). I request you to call each legislator individually and take a secret ballot. Or should we believe that the BJP does not follow its own constitution?"

Jaitley: "I ask Pramod Mahajan to reply to Umaji's point about the party constitution." (Gauri Shankar Shejwar repeats Uma's question. ).

Pramod Mahajan: "The BJP's central leadership is supreme. As legislators, you should know that the central constitution is superior to conventions guiding a legislative party." (He says he has a copy of the BJP constitution which clarifies the point he's making.)

Uma: "Take a decision after asking the legislators. We will all accept the majority decision of legislators. I will accept Shivraj and welcome him if the MLAs back him."

Mahajan: "Umaji, let us take the decisions. The decision of the parliamentary board is final."

Babulal Gaur: "My name had come from Delhi" (laughter).

Shejwar: "I propose Umaji's name as leader."

Jaitley: "I propose Shivraj's name." (An argument follows. Jaitley asks those in favour of Shivraj to raise their hands. Uma again asks for a secret ballot.)

Uma: "This is a betrayal of the people, the legislators. I will go to Ayodhya."

Jaitley: "This is not a forum for speeches."

Uma: "I am leaving."

Mahajan: "Those who are getting up to leave, please sit down."

Jaitley: "No one will leave." (Most of them listen to him and return to their seats.)

‘Kituu…’, in-sync with the trend

The story is in line with the current trend of soaps with ordinary looking girls with middle-class values achieving extraordinary success in life. ‘Kituu...’ is about a girl Katyayani Purohit aka Kituu who comes from a humble background and becomes a successful Television journalist.

The title role of ‘Kituu...’ has been essayed by Ami Trivedi, a young, vivacious Gujarati girl. Kituu has been conceived as a powerful character of an honest girl whose convictions and integrity are a rarity in today’s world. She is a fiery crusader who dreams of changing the world. She is the life of her neighbourhood, her father’s pet, someone who is a complete tomboy, talkative and totally lovable.

This full-of-beans girl at the tender age of 20 takes up the challenge to bail her family out of a financial crisis. With her steely grit and determination this ’mohalla’ girl becomes a force to reckon with in electronic journalism. She becomes the face of the new generation of young women achievers. Her middle-class values and sensitivities endear her to the masses. She also becomes a role model for the young girls as despite her middle-class morals and views she refuses to be a doormat.

Ami who plays Kituu is a young graduate from Jai Hind College, Mumbai. She has dabbled in theatre for 6 years where she got the opportunity to act with the likes of Tiku Talsania, Homi Wadia, Dharmesh Vyas and Siddharth Randheria.

BSNL to offer FTTH broadband service

NEW DELHI: State-run BSNL has stepped up efforts to grab a bigger share of rising broadband demand in the country with the PSU planning to provide Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH) based broadband services for offering Next generation services to its subscribers.

BSNL started broadband services in January 2005 with the 'ADSL' systems. We are now planning to offer broadband service on fibre also by using the FTTH systems, a senior BSNL official said adding the PSU today issued a tender to procure FTTH equipment for providing the next generation broadband services to its customers.

There are more than 4.5 lakh route kms of optical fibre laid by BSNL/MTNL and more than 1 lakh route kms laid by private operators.

The fibre optics technology can provide unlimited bandwidth potential and is steadily replacing copper network specially in intra-city backbone networks. This is being deployed in commercial buildings and complexes in big cities with high-density potential broadband users.

TRAI has identified five different access paths to cover the last mile -- Local Loop Digital Subscriber Line (DSL), Cable, Satellite, Terrestrial Wireless and Fibre to Home.

Hybrid Fibre Coaxial (HFC), Fibre-to-the-Curb and FTTH make use of fibre cabling into last mile. The fibre based models are future proof as they can provide huge bandwidth in the last mile and also a IP and converged network that can deliver high quality voice-video and data, he said.

DoT had set a target of 3 million broadband subscribers by December 2005. The total number of broadband internet subscribers in the country as on October 31, 2005 was 7.1 lakhs. BSNL and MTNL have contributed 3.1 lakh subscribers.

Hanuman

India's first Animation Movie
I was egerly waiting for "Hanuman".
there were two reasons behind this, very first the subject being very much indian, and that too somewhere in the blurr zone of Indian Mythology or may be Vedic History. That is subject of debate. But in this movie the subject is treated not as history but pure fiction as in mythology.
The Filmmakers claim that, they kept everyone in mind not only children as audience, but as I feel this movie is best and rightly targeted at child audience. If any adult has to watch this he have to become a child for the duration of the movie. But that is not a bad idea, even I enjoyed this movie a lot. And felt proud as well. Not only movie but I also enjoyed the audience themselves.
One little audience was crying when रावण "Ravan" was killed. he constantly keep saying till the end of the movie "Ravan ko vaapis lao, Ravan kidhar gaya". (bring back Ravan, wehre has he gone?)
Some young audinece were reciting the songs which I think they had already memorised thanks to Cartoon Network or some other TV channel. Me too enjoyed the songs very much. Hanuman Chaalisa's chaupais were also used.
"जय हनुमान ज्ञान गुण सागर, जय कपीश तिहु लोक उज़ागर"

A video is also shot with many a child artistes in it and a bunch of famous and energetic singers like Kailash Kher (Allah ke Bande fame), Palasha Sen and others like Sonu Nigam etc. The video was shown in the last with credits.
I thank all the crew of this film for doing this wonderful job and made me proud of themselves.
And amazingly, there were few love birds also seen in the theater, I could not guess why they came for this movie, but they were there with the reasons best known to them.

Bose - the forgotten hero

The Forgotten Hero is based on the last five years of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose's life and is directed by Shyam Benegal, rated one of India's best directors In an interesting departure from the norm as far as Bollywood music is concerned, Benegal had music director A R Rahman insert theme songs into the film. In Hollywood, most well known films have over the years become almost instantly recognisable by their themes. Hopefully, Bose will set a trend for themes in our films rather than the song and dance routine that is so much part and parcel of our movies. Aazadi, a blend of western classical with a few Hindi words, including Jai Hind that is sung in the background, is yet surprisingly Indian in tune that is the trademark of A R Rahman. Kadam kadam badaye jaa is often considered the anthem of the Indian National Army as it marched towards India. The song is a mix of martial tune and classical composition. It is the kind of song that gives the listener goose flesh. After all, this is the tune that launched a thousands soldiers, armed with little more than the determination to free their motherland. Ekla chalo, a famous Rabindranath Tagore song that was loved by both Bose and Gandhi, has had a makeover as a duet sung by Sonu Nigam and Nachiketa Chakraborty. Not sure if the purists will quite like it. Hum Dilli Dilli jayenge is another INA song, made famous over the years as the army's resolve to capture Delhi. The song is the kind that gets one going, set to a fast pace with a martial tune. Desh ki matti, a song of nostalgia, is sung evocatively and slowly, the words drifting down as lazily as the Ganga over the plains of India. Zikr, a Muslim prayer set to tune, is again a good hear, a song that lifts the spirit. Ghoomparani is a popular rhyme sung by Bengalis, usually while putting their children to sleep, and is another lilting song that soothes the spirit. And then there is the Durga Puja rhythm that one hears blaring from pandals whenever the festival season comes upon us, played out by Rahman as only he can. After the songs come the themes and the musical versions of some of the songs. Brilliant music played out by orchestras that provoke the imagination, especially when one links the theme with the title. So while hearing the Netaji themes, one can just shut one's eyes and try and imagine a solitary Bose as he essayed one of the greatest stories to free his country, astory that is perhaps more poignant because it came so near and was yet so far.That Benegal and Rahman were unwilling to make any compromises with the music is proved by the fact that the Czech Film Orchestra, based in Prague, rendered the themes. Hopefully in the future, such themes and orchestra music will be provided from within India. Emilie theme is particularly lilting. Similar is the case with the other themes that are either sombre (Hitler theme, U Boat theme) or a little fast-paced (Afghanistan theme).The orchestral renditions of Kadam kadam badaye ja and Desh ki mitti also make for some great music and hearing them in a dark cinema hall can only have a deeper impact.

Bunti aur Bubli

"Bunty aur Babli" is the latest movie from "Yashraj Films". Being a fan of Yashraj I am looking forward to it. The last movie from the Director "Shaad Ali" was "Saathiya", which I admired a lot. The music from "A.R.Rahman" (in Saathiya) was one of my all time favourite including the great lyrics by "Gulzar".
Hope Shaad Ali recreates Magic in bunti and Bubli as well, genere wise the two movies are altogether different, but still the production house and same director made me to mention the earlier movie. Next similarity may be the probable success of "Bunti and Bubli".
Starring the most successful actor of Indian Film Industry "Amitabh Bachchhan" and his son "Abhishek Bachhan", who has recently proved his acting skills in "Yuva" and "Dhoom". And the "Rani Mukharjee", inclusion of her name in the credentials ensures the success of any movie. Most recently, "Black" and "Veer Zaara", later was again from "YashRaj Films" directed by son "Aditya Chopra".

Below I am giving synonips of story of the forthcoming movie, hope you and me will enjoy the movie when it comes into theaters.

Every mundane reality in every dusty corner of India is flushed out of its slumber by a splash of 'Bunty aur Babli' excitement in this, the tale of two dreamers that blaze the sky like comets.
